Equipment Lists
Hylton Memorial Chapel owns, maintains, and operates some production equipment to better serve our clients. Currently, our sound, lighting, and video systems are designed to facilitate large church services including choirs, worship teams, worship bands, solos, and preaching. With minor supplementation, the system can accommodate simple concerts that do not require high sound pressure levels.
If you are looking at booking an event at Hylton Memorial Chapel, please consider that our production equipment is not capable of handling a full-scale concert for a national act. We are currently increasing our inventory of equipment and hope to move in the direction of offering our clients full production services in the future. However, concerts or festivals will require the rental of production equipment and labor at the client's expense.
Depending on contractual agreement, use of Hylton Memorial Chapel production equipment may accrue charges above and beyond building use fees. Hylton Memorial Chapel reserves the right to refuse use of any or all equipment at its own discretion. HMC also reserves the right to insist on HMC staff member operation of both HMC equipment and rentals made under HMC's name.

Overview
The monitor system is run from the front-of-house position. The Soundcraft Venue II has four aux sends permanently wired as pre-fader for four separate mixes on stage.

Control and Dimming
Hylton Memorial Chapel's lighting system is controlled by a Colortran Encore lighting console. The console has independent fader control of the first forty-eight dimmers and then virtual control of the rest. It also has twenty-four submasters with independent faders and a virtually unlimited number of programmable scenes. The Encore sends control signal down five-pin DMX, so it is capable of controlling moving lights and color scrollers, however it was not designed to do that.
The Encore is able to control all dimming lights in the building, including the foyer, wedding chapel, and reception room. Each of these rooms has independent wall-panel controls as well. Please note that the wall panels and Encore do not "take control" of the lights from one another. If the dimmers are commanded by either the wall panel or the Encore to be "on," they will be on. Therefore, if the wall panel in the wedding chapel is turned "on," the Encore cannot turn those lights off.
HMC has 120 Colortran dimmers that can supply 2000 watts of power each. They can be removed or moved around in groups of two. All dimmers are currently in use, so if the client desires to use additional lighting, additional dimmer packs will have to be brought in as well.

Gels: All fixtures are currently loaded with no color or amber. Any color can be placed into any number of fixtures. All material costs for gel and labor costs for loading, unloading, aiming, and reaiming are the sole responsibility of the client and will be billed above and beyond any building use fees.

Building Interconnect Equipment
Audio
Audio signals can be routed to and from almost every room in the building through a series of patch bays and a room combining system. If your production requires audio interconnections between rooms, please bring XLR ground lift adaptors to ensure a buzz-free connection between the rooms.
Lighting
As mentioned under Lighting Equipment > Control and Dimming, the Colortran Encore console can control all dimmable lights throughout the building, including the foyer, wedding chapel, and reception room.
Video
Video signals can be routed to and from almost every room in the building through a series of video patch panels. Also, Hylton Memorial Chapel has an RF modulator that can broadcast video and audio from the Sanctuary to other rooms throughout the building.
